Nashville, Tennessee is HOME for me. A place I truly love. It has changed drastically over the years and it's the current " IT "city. With a sprawling skyline filled with sky scrapers and cranes as the city grows there are so many places to take epic photos.

You can't really come to Nashville with out taking a photo in front of the Nashville WhatLiftsYouWings Mural. Located in downtown Nashville in THE GULCH: 302 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203. Note: Parking is limited on the street with meter parking. There is a pay to park lot across the street as well. I have found the best time to go is earlier in the mornings . . . especially Sunday mornings.
And for those of you with little ones or pets who need photos with the wings . . . there is a mini set of wings right off to the side of the large set.
Located in Noble Park in the heart of THE GULCH at 11th Ave. S, Nashville, TN 37203. It's the cutest little city park. With a grassy area and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy. A 3D photorealistic mural, The Paper Moon, is located on the wall outside of the Blue Stripes Cacao. ( If you have never tried cacao, you have no idea what you are missing! It is soooooooo good! )
Note: If you found a parking spot of the WhatLiftsYouWings (mentioned above), you have no need to move your vehicle. Its literally across the street.
Another Nashville Mural staple is the original I Believe In Nashville. Located at 2702 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204.
Note: Its in an alley way and 12South has mostly street parking.
If you are wanting to take a picture by the blue and white striped wall mural or the Draper James painted window and bench . . you don't have to look far. It shares an alley with the original " I Believe In Nashville " mural. Located outside the Draper James Boutique.
Note: Parking is limited in 12South, mostly on street parking. Draper James has a small lot behind the store.
There is also the Life Can Be Sweet mural outside Baked on 8th bakery. Who can resist a delicious sweet while taking cute selfies or portraits in front of this mural?! Located at 1512 8th Ave. Nashville, TN 37203.
Note: They have small parking lot on the opposite side of the building of the mural
Another Nashville mural favorite is the " Nashville looks good on you ". There are a few versions of this mural around the city but this particular one is located in 12South behind the Forthy Monkey at 2511 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204. Forthy Monkey has a parking lot located behind it.
One of the most famous locations to take photos is the Percy Warner Park stone stairs in Belle Meade. Located at the end of Belle Meade Blvd, Nashville, Tennessee 37221. It is more recently noted for being in the show " Nashville "
This location is often used for wedding and prom portraits, but also a perfect back drop for family photo sessions as well
Note: Permits are required for professional photographers to do sessions at this or any public park located in the Metro Nashville area.
